There are three parts to the Wyoming CDL road skills test. The first part is a pre-trip inspection which requires you to point out vehicle components and explain what is being checked. The second part is the basic vehicle control test which involves alley dock backing, offset right or left backing, and straight light backing. The third one is an on-road test which is conducted on the street and requires drivers to perform their skills in normal traffic situations.
