Under Utah law, you may NOT use a handheld cell phone to __________ while you're driving.

Under Utah law, no driver, commercial or otherwise, may use a handheld cell phone to send text messages or email, dial a telephone number, access the Internet, enter data, or view or record video while driving. Exceptions are made for reporting an emergency or a hazard or using a navigation app. Violation of this law is treated as a misdemeanor. Furthermore, under federal regulations, if you violate state laws on handheld cell phones twice within three years, you will be disqualified from driving commercially for at least 60 days.
